About Mt. Airy Pride 

Mt. Airy Pride is a collaborative community initiative celebrating LGBTQIA+ visibility,  inclusion, and belonging in Northwest Philadelphia. Produced in partnership with High  Point Café’s Sunday Market and supported by WMAN, Mt. Airy CDC, Attic Youth Center, and 

Pop The Pixel, the festival brings together residents, organizations, artists, and businesses  to create a welcoming and affirming community celebration.

Inaugural Mt. Airy Pride Festival Brings Community, Celebration, and Visibility to  Northwest Philadelphia 

MT. AIRY, PHILADELPHIA — June 14, 2026 — Mt. Airy will celebrate Pride in a new way this  year with the launch of the inaugural Mt. Airy Pride Festival, taking place Sunday, June  14, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Richard Allen Lane Train Station

Presented in partnership with High Point Café’s Sunday Market, the festival will bring  together local residents, businesses, artists, performers, and community organizations for  a joyful celebration of LGBTQIA+ pride, belonging, and neighborhood connection. The event  is made possible through the collaboration and sponsorships of West Mt. Airy Neighbors  (WMAN), Mt. Airy CDC, Attic Youth Center, and Pop The Pixel

The free, family-friendly festival will feature live entertainment, community resources,  artisan vendors, food trucks, lawn games, interactive activities, and opportunities for  neighbors of all ages to celebrate together. In partnership with High Point Café's Sunday  Market, attendees will also have the opportunity to shop from local LGBTQ+ artisans,  makers, and vendors, highlighting the creativity and entrepreneurship that make Mt. Airy  such a vibrant community. Designed as an inclusive community event, Mt. Airy Pride will  offer activities and experiences for individuals, couples, families, children, and older adults  alike.  

“Mt. Airy has long been known as a neighborhood that values diversity, inclusion, and  community,” said Paige GoldMarche, who leads the group of Mt. Airy volunteers organizing  the event. “This festival creates a dedicated space to celebrate LGBTQIA+ people and  families while bringing the broader community together in a spirit of joy, visibility, and  belonging.” 

Live Entertainment 

Lex Horwitz will serve as MC for a dynamic performance lineup featuring local  musicians, performers, and artists throughout the day. 

The festival's main stage schedule includes: 

10:30–11:00 a.m. – Ants on a Log  

11:15–11:45 a.m. – Opera on Tap  

12:00–12:30 p.m. – Kurt Cobain’s Dad  

12:45–1:15 p.m. – Mx’ed Nutz 

1:30–2:00 p.m. – Anna Crusis Feminist Choir  

Throughout the event, attendees will also enjoy roaming performances from the  Philadelphia School of Circus Arts.  

Community Resources and Local Businesses 

More than two dozen organizations, nonprofits, schools, and businesses will participate,  including the ACLU of Pennsylvania, Act Up Philadelphia, Attic Youth CenterPhiladelphia FIGHT, William Way LGBTQ Community Center, Climate Action PA, Mt.  Airy Learning Tree, West Mt. Airy Neighbors, and many others.  

The festival will also showcase local artisans, LGBTQIA+-affirming businesses, community  resources, and opportunities for residents to connect with organizations serving Northwest  Philadelphia. 

Family-Friendly Activities 

In addition to shopping, entertainment, and community engagement, attendees can enjoy  lawn games, food and drinks, and a hands-on Pride-themed art activity where participants  can bring their own shirts to create custom Pride logo prints. The event has been intentionally designed to welcome people of all ages, making it a place where families,  friends, and neighbors can celebrate Pride together.
