Presentation Objectives:
At the end of this presentation, the participant should be able to:
1. Identify and understand the core terms and concepts related to gender and sexuality to build a foundational understanding of diverse identities and experiences
2. Recognize common barriers, biases, and challenges faced by LGBTQIA+ individuals and evaluate how these factors impact feelings of safety, belonging, and inclusion in healthcare and beyond
3. Leave with evidence-informed best practices for creating affirming and inclusive spaces through respectful communication and intentional actions that support individuals of all gender identities and sexualities
