Event Description

The words we use and the assumptions we make can affect people in ways we never intend — often without us even realizing it. During this workshop, we'll use the LGBTQ+ community as our starting point to get honest about language, microaggressions, and what it really means to make people feel like they belong.

This isn't about getting things perfect. It's about building awareness and developing habits that help all of us show up more thoughtfully — for our colleagues, our clients, and our communities.

You'll leave with (objectives):

• A greater awareness of the words and assumptions we carry into daily interactions

• A clearer understanding of microaggressions and their impact

• A mindset shift that extends far beyond any one community
