LGBTQIA+ Peer Support Groups

Lex facilitates 6 peer support groups for the LGBTQIA+ community and our families both virtually and in person! These groups are free and open to all who share these identities, and are created to be accessible across state and country lines (for our virtual groups).

Whether you are looking for a community space with others who share your identity and experiences, support, resources, or just to share space (and not participate), these support groups are made for YOU!

These are peer support groups. These groups are not therapy or a substitute for professional clinical or medical care, or crisis intervention. These groups are intended to foster connection, share experience, and offer mutual support.

You are not alone. There are many resources and supports out there for you at all times and whenever you may need them.

“Lex was a guest speaker for PFLAG Philadelphia’s monthly speaker series. Lex was warm, engaging and knowledgeable; exactly the speaker you hope for to inspire parents and family members of of LGBTQIA+ loved ones.

Lex has the ability to draw people in to the important conversations of the work that needs to be done, while empowering them with a renewed sense of hope, positivity and skills sets to help change the future for the better. Lex has a joy and positivity that is so infectious, that we immediately asked them to speak again in the fall. We can not recommend Lex enough!

~ Cindy Apostolico, Board Member, PFLAG Philadelphia

“Lex is an amazing speaker that was able to breakthrough to students in very insightful and creative ways. He answered a wide variety of questions in a very constructive manner that really worked well with our students! Our students felt seen and heard with his presence. It made me feel so good to know our students valued having him here to share his story and to share advice on how to navigate their own personal journeys as members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Lex is very thorough and has a lot of great information and breaks it all down in a very palatable and easy to understand way. It was very well done. It was a lot of great information, and he really broke multiple topics down in a very relatable way that caught the attention of our students, staff, and faculty. Many of our community members expressed how interesting it was to hear from Lex, especially our LGBTQIA+ students that are active on campus; they loved having him here as it made them feel seen and heard.

Lex is bright, upbeat, compassionate, and understanding! More organizations should host Lex to challenge them with a new perspective and broach uncomfortable topics with someone who can guide them through it to plant seeds for a more inclusive environment.”

~ Sulakshmi Vaid, Coordinator of Civic & Community Service, Goldey-Beacom College

“Lex brings such important topics to the forefront through conversation and thoughtful dialogue.

We've worked with Lex both virtually and in person through podcast interviews and during the Together! Pride 2021 Festival. No matter the setting, Lex engages their audience by creating a space where folks can ask questions, and, just as important, witness how living one's truth can allow someone to create a better tomorrow. Fully recommend booking Lex as a motivational speaker or as a community resource!”

~ Ducky Sheaboi & Patsy InDecline, NYC drag duo

“I've had the pleasure of working with Lex as a guest on my podcast and as a panelist on a corporate pride event. On every occasion, Lex has shown up as a true professional that has a gift to educate, train, and facilitate all with warmth and open-heartedness.

Their tireless activism and advocacy in service of the LGBTQ+ community cannot be understated. There is no doubt in my mind that the community will continue to benefit from their efforts.”
