About the Event
We are excited to announce our org-wide LGBTQIA+ Learning Session, in partnership with Lex Horwitz.
This program engages participants in proactive implementation and application of allyship and advocacy best practices, focusing on affirmation and inclusion strategies and their tools. Here, we focus on being proactive (versus reactive) in our advocacy and allyship practices, leaving with tangible tools to create more affirming and safer communities for all.
Attendees Will:
Identify, understand, and address the unique microaggressions experienced by LGBTQIA+ people so that we can show up more effectively as allies and advocates
Leave with tangible tools, best practices, and next steps to utilize as an effective ally in action to queer, non-binary and trans people and/or for self-advocacy
